Red Bayou Methodist Church in New Boston, TX dates back to the mid 1800's with a tremendous amount of history.

3 MARCH 2026
My name is Tim Graham, and as of 15 March 2026, I am going to take on a two point charge in the Global Methodist Church pastoring at Red Bayou Global Methodist Church and Daniels Chapel Global Methodist Church, both of which are in New Boston, Texas. My wife Christina and I are excited about these opportunities to be in ministry partnerships with these two congregations.
Having been a lifelong Methodist, I am thankful that there are still churches steeped in the Wesley tradition, faithful to the Word of God, and that are intent on making disciples. It is a denomination that has given our family plenty of opportunities to grow in Christlikeness through small group participation, Sunday School classes, and ministries in and around New Boston. While this is an enormous leap of faith for us as a family, we believe that God is throwing a door wide open and is calling us to enter. So we are going to embark on this new journey with the faith of Abraham, with the hope that our faithfulness will be credited to us as righteousness, not our works. God can use the life experiences and the gifts that we possess to bring others into a relationship with Him. It has been an unlikely journey that has placed us here at this moment, but we believe that we are in this position “for such a time as this”. God’s timing is perfect.
In the spirit of the Wesley tradition, his Covenant Prayer is one that reminds us that there could be seasons: seasons of success, seasons of failure, seasons of drought, and seasons of plenty. If you are looking for a new church home, I encourage you to come and visit. Your relationship with God is paramount to any other one that you may have, and we pray that God will continue to open doors for you like He has for us. God bless.
John Wesley Covenant Prayer
I am no longer my
own, but yours.
Put me to what
you will, place me with whom you will.
Put me to doing,
put me to suffering.
Let me be put to
work for you or set aside for you,
Praised for you
or criticized for you.
Let me be full,
let me be empty.
Let me have all
things, let me have nothing.
I freely and
fully surrender all things to your glory and service.
And now, O
wonderful and holy God,
Creator,
Redeemer, and Sustainer,
you are mine, and
I am yours.
So be it.
And the covenant
which I have made on earth,
Let it also be
made in heaven. Amen.
